I received a notice for my HSBC MC raising my rate on new and "existing" balance on my card effective December. The notice states; "if" your account has a variable rate, blah, blah, blah". My rate is fixed, i've never recvd notice of any change to variable. Spoke to 3 "mangers", no results. Anyone know what I can do. My purchases were based on an informed decision of actual costs including finance charage, and now it's more! How can they do this and why the hell is congress letting them? Dvra
