removing authorized users / almost charge-off accounts

I have 5 cards that will be going into charge-off status in the next couple of months and was wondering how it is going to affect my wife. I have her as an AU on all the cards. Should I go ahead and cancel her from being an AU or don't worry about it and if they pop up on her CR just disput and get it off.
Will it cause problems if I try to get her off these cards while the are deliquent?
