For those who post their problems with scam CA's and intractible CRA's, you don't know how good you have got it!!

The only thing you can do is to GO IN PERSON to your local SS office, with ALL your documentation, MAKE COPIES--they are the ONLY ones who can TRY to straighten this out.Make sure you get the NAME of your "helper" and a PRINT OUT of the e-mail they must send to the payment department. DO NOT try to get any reimbursement from the SS office for $$ already withheld, all that will happen is that the amount will be ADDED to what they say you owe.

Keep ALL the correspondence, (you will likely get several conflicting letters from SS within a short period of time).

IF they do not straighten it out within a few months REQUEST AN ADMINISTRATIVE HEARING!!
