Help.....is SOL up on this debt??

I live in Indiana. I ordered my credit report 2 weeks ago to see what was on it. There was a debt listed on there that I disputed as "not mine". It was for $400 for Ivy Tech State College. I didn't think I owed them anything because my financial aid has always paid for ALL of my schooling. I've never spent a dime out of pocket. I have NEVER been contacted about oweing this school any money, but now that I have disputed it, I received a collection letter in the mail this weekend.

My question: I attended this school very, very briefly in 1997. Is the SOL up on this debt? Should I send the collection agency a letter? Also, can I now dispute this debt with the credit burea has having the SOL expired AFTER I've already disputed it as "not mine"?
