Since I left this message, I've met with a Bankruptcy attorney. It seems that Bankruptcy may not be the route for me to take. He thinks so. I disagree. As I will be spending as much in attorneys fees and reorganization cost, as I will if I just settle with my creditors. Regarding the summons, no. I'm self employed, so garnishment will be tough. I currently have a contract on my home. I will be receiving a substantial sum at closing April 2,2003. It would appear (thanks to your insight) that I'm going to be able to hold them off until after the closing. Protecting the cash is another quandary.

I hope this is truly a bunch of swamp gas, as I'm less than thirty days from being able settle this account.
