I am not aware of any SOL for bad checks.They are covered under State banking regulations not the civil code, (except for allowable fines and charges)

The data base system they refer to is probably the infamous "chexsystem".

I have stayed out of discussions about collections on bad checks, other than to post the State law for bad checks on my website, bcause, as far as I know, the only relevance it has to credit collections is that the ca's who collect onbad checks are subject to the FDCPA & FCRA.

I have not researched the subject, nor do I wish to, other than finding that there is no SOL for collecting on bad checks as far as I can tell.
