This is a question that has been debated over and over on all the forums and the answer is- nobody knows. A CA can pull your credit report. We all know that. The question is- can they pull it if the debt is past your credit report. Inquiries do a ton of damage so by pulling they affect your credit. The only way we will know is if someone takes a CA to court for pulling an inquiry that is past the SOL. This must be in federal court so that the rest of us can use the case law in the future.
