I really hate to burst the "Lady's" bubble, but a re-age is something that is completely legal and regulated within the collections industry. If you would like to look it up, it is regulated by the FFIEC, look under recnt publications for the most recent bank or collections guide on this. The OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) regularly checks for complaince.
