Very good question - have a quick look through the FCRA (fair credit repoting act). it is very easy to find on-line, and will give you all of your answers regarding credit reporting. As for the re-age, do you know why it was done? It is perfectly legal for them to do, and in and of itslef will not adversely impact your credit score. Normally, however, it is only done if consecutive payments are made.
