Why Chat: It was April 6, 1999 since I was able to make a payment. My mom paid them, but as we watched her for 99 days deteriorate, after she passed away it became impossible to make payments as we tried to make arrangements with the cc co. They wouldn't hear of it. They wanted their money NOW. They didn't want to try to accomodate us by helping a payment plan. I got threats about two weeks after mom passed away and would not listen when we tried to make arrangements. i contacted an attorney and he said ignore them and if I heard anything else from them to give his name and number and he would take care of it. Well, as the threats came I told them that they were to call my attorney and gave his number. Guess what? He didn't do anything except drop me like hot moltin lava when I needed him. With the advice of another attorney he said to send the collection agency a letter to sue if they bothered me again. I got another letter from another collection agency. Guess what? He wouldn't even return my call. There must have been 6-10 different agencies buying my account. I'm still afraid, because if this attorney on Tues. can't help me I will Scream.

I'm thinking of filing Chapter 7, it seems to be my only choice. My appearance in front of magistrate is 4/1/03. I am still needing and asking for help.
