I have asked this before but I am still not "getting it". Virginia's 3-year SOL starts with the last payment or charge on an ACTIVE acct. Please define ACTIVE in this sense. If an acct. is included in a debt mgmt program such as CCCS, does that render the acct. as INACTIVE? Example: Debtor had a CC that became included in CCCS in May of 1998, debtor stayed with the program for 2 years and stopped paying. When does the SOL begin, 5/98 or 5/00?
