consumer credit counceling

Hi there!
I was looking through older posts and saw some things about the cccs. I must say I am concerned.I hope I didnt pick a bad one to go with. has anyone heard of elimidebt? If so, how did your experience go? If they are a bad company can one get out of it or do you have to stay until the debts are paid? I have a feeling I should have checked this out more before I jumped in!
Any info or suggestions would be greatly apprieciated!
