Equifax- WHYCHAT-Help

I sent The CRA's CRRR letters stating inaccurate reporting on credit reports. Equifax sent letter asking for me to send copies of my ss#, Deed/rental agreement ,drivers license, pay stub etc.because the info they have on file does not match info they have. They want me to resubmit dispute etc.. I feel that when I sent signed statement that included my ss#. That would be enough. Most of my bills were in my former name but ss has not changed. What should I do aas I don't need any more collectors calling.
