You are not going to believe this... household bank

I have a household bank mastercard with a meesly 300 dollar limit.. well i was wondering if my payment was rec'd so i called them.. it was... now i have had the card for 8mos, always paid in full each month, so i asked about an increase in the credit line.. well after a minute or two, i was told congratulations you can have a lovely 400 dollar limit (a meesly 100 dollar increase) so i said sure why not.. heres where it gets good.. the woman tells me by the way there is a $25 credit line increase fee!!! I was suprised at this one so i told her i'd keep my 300 dollar limit.... has anyone heard of this before??/ a credit line increase fee... maybe they are trying to collect some extra money.. heck i've never paid them interest since i pay it off every month....
