Unless you have an agreement with your girlfriend to pay you for your labor, you can't use that to file a lein.

Don't take the car, you have no legal right to the car if you aren't on the title.

I would take her to small claims court but you are going to have to prove that she was supposed to be making the payments and you did not benefit from the loan.
