Some of this becomes a bit sticky in a community property state, but your husband's wages can NOT be garnished. Authorized users, usually, bear NO liability. There are some points in community property states that still allow that some assets and debts are considered SEPARATE any way. Were any of these accounts yours before you were married ?? If your paid-for car falls within the exemption limits, it will not be vulnerable. What state ARE you in ?
