My balance was around $2700 after they've added all of their interest to it. Before it was charged off Citi offered me a 50% settlement to be paid off in 10 days - no way I could do it then. I've received one letter from them and they all the time about it. I received the letter agreeing to a 70% settlement. I came to this board and asked and was told they WOULD offer a lower settlement so hopefully they will. I am really confused, though because some say settlement is just as bad as not paying, but then you end up getting sued. ??
