According to what I've read, the BK bill will have a long up-hill battle in the Senate, its not a slam-dunk by any means that it will get passed.

IF these morons in DC pass this horrible 'reform' bill, it will make it VERY difficult for people to file CH 7 and will force more people into Ch 13's. There will be a new 'means' test (based on the ludicrous IRS living expenses charts) and all will be forced into some credit counseling before you can go for bankruptcy. If passed, it is going to crush a LOT of people who are already in dire straights.

IF they pass it, it won't become law until 6 months after the President signs it.
