They called yesterday, I called back today and they said they've been mailing to me but to the north version of my address and not the south. it is a 900.00 check which I have been trying to get cleared but it has grown to 1088.00 and they tell me I am being arrested Tuesday Morning if I don't pay it by them. I am not employed & have been disabled for 3 years. I am seeking employment but it is difficult when you're restricted as much as I am with a bad back. We have only my husbands check which doesn't even closely cover out debts. I've tried to make pmt arrangements with prior agencies but nobody would take payments only the full amt which I can't come up with all at once. She was rude, wouldn't talk to me until she received all my information down to the color of the car I drive and said she is the "death row" of collections. I have horrible credit, no way to come up with the cash by monday, a friend called on my behalf to try to work something out and he ended up getting angry and cussing them out at which time they called me back and said "we don't want your money all we want is you in jail and we're sending the sherriff tomorrow morning to pick you up, get a lawyer" then they hung up. I called back 3 times and was hung up on until I called the receptionist and was crying so hard that she gave me back to the person I started with and she finally gave me back to monday again and hung up on me once again. HELP I'm Desperate at this point. Thank you
