Yeah, lawguy makes a good point re criminal charges. In Florida a bad check will get you twenty years at hard labor, no time off, compulsory viewing of Gong Show re-runs on weekends. Better to commit a few murders, then it's the usual thirty days in county. Unless it's a drug killing, then it's a ten dollar fine and a free beach pass.
