State is Mich., question re: 2 cc debts, both beyond SOL. Old debts now being solicited by Asset Acceptance. Best course? 1) ignore 2)send validation letter 3) send SOL letter 4) send validation & SOL letter. CR only lists one of the two, and DOLA Jan. 1996, and it says Paid satisfactorily, when in fact no payments were made after 1996. Wouldn't a preemptive SOL letter now discourage a fishing trip suit by this CA? Thanks much!!
