I have not seen ANY State that allows changes in any retail consumer contract -unless it is in writing.I have a link on my website called "State Contract Changes" which lists EACH State's laws on the subject. Here is La.

§ 1122. Credit agreements to be in writing
A debtor shall not maintain an action on a credit agreement unless the agreement is in writing, expresses consideration, sets forth the relevant terms and conditions, and is signed by the creditor and the debtor.
Acts 1989, No. 531,§ 1

So, unless she signed a "debt consolidation" or "settlement" contract, that was ALSO signed by the creditor, there is NO legal re-aging of the SOL.
