Whatever amount you settle on, make certain that you do not give any money or sign any agreement unless they are willing to give you a "Satisfaction of Judgment" to be filed with the Court (this just says that the your obligations as listed in the judgment have been met in full, and that you have no unfulfilled obligations under the judgment). Otherwise, the judgment is still a valid obligation against you.
