I was just gettng ready to send out an SOL letter, but if, as according to this post from lawguy, the SOL is truly 6 or (God Forbid) 15 years, then I don't want to be sending that out. I would send a validation/dispute/C&D by phone letter instead. What should I do now? Is the SOL 4, 6, or 15 years? The company is called Receivables Specialists, who say the debt was purchased by Platinum Financial. The last place Platinum Financial had this account with wasn't able to validate it, so it looks like they still have it, but thought they'd try another agent/agency to collect. Thanks!
