I think you are confusing what was obviously a CH 13 dismissed BK with a CH 7. In any case,are you being contacted by any collection agents? Why do you think you have to file BK? Get your credit reports,you will probably find that they are clear of most derogatory information by now. Any left over derogatory information will drop off soon. Even given a last date of delinquency of 9/98 on the repo, it is WAY beyond any legal date for collection of any deficiency. Start your new life -- and make sure your "ex" doesn't continue to screw things up for you.
