Deletion Question for good accts

Do we want to "not mine" old accounts that are in good standing? Do they have any leverage on current scores? I have an old account with citibank/gardner white. LDA is 07-99(which is wrong actual is 10-97) shows acct closed by consumer, and trans or sold, with RI Date reported 09/99. Should we leave these accounts alone? Do they hurt us or help us being as old as they are?
