If you call Citibank with something like that, they'll sue your butt so fast you won't know what hit you. Your best bet may be to lie low. Virginia has a 3 year SOL on credit card debt. An Aug of 01 chargeoff date means you defaulted in Feb. of 01. With less than a year to run, keep your head down and hope they leave you alone.
