I agree with Scott- don't be blackmailed,if they don't perform as "agreed" what recourse will you have? You will have cemented the account to your report, have lost the ability to protest that it in't yours (after all-you would have PAID it !)

In addition, if, as I STILL suspect, ths IS a collection agency with a "lookalike" name,you will have all the other slazeball scum scam ca's doing the same thing to you.
