Equifax deleted good tradelines--WHYCHAT

All the data on my credit report is only 23 months old. I have a report from 2001 that has credit going back to 1990. For example: Best Buy Closed 5/97 is missing and Consumer Mortgate Closed 9-90 as well as Community Bank closed 1-00. My pitiful fico of 609 really needs some help. Would it help to try to get these put back on? How would I go about doing that?
