Can someone try to help me with the other questions? What kind of credit report status should I request for this matter? Should I ask for a 1099, or could she be lucky enough not to receive one and have no tax impact? Another way of saying it, are they common place and necessary? I would rather she not have additional expenses, i.e. taxes owed on the unpaid/unsettled portion. Finally, if asked, is there no requirement (FDCPA)for the CA rep to provide their full name or if asked the name of someone in management?
