If you have proof that the last time you paid MBNA was 1999, then you have a positive way out of this mess - the SOL for credit card debt has EXPIRED for MD - in 2002 !! They can no longer legally sue you to collect this so they should also not be able to force you into binding arbitration either.

Perhaps WhyChat will chime in, but I think you need to send these W&A scumbags WhyChat's SOL letter and tell them to go pound sand !!!
