It's not the date that it was opened that matters. It's the date that it went delinquent. The "last date of activity" must be disputed. If it doesn't say on the report, then dispute it with Experian and tell them it was more than 7-1/2 years ago. They must either confirm that it had not been 7-1/2 years or remove it.
