Retail charge cards are easier to get because merchants wish to move product. However, most retail cards don't give really high credit limits plus, their interest rates are much higher than a traditional Visa/MC product.
85% is danger signal to cc companies. The average consumer uses 22% of availale credit.You're far outside the norm and are at some risk of geting your existing lines of credit frozen or reduced.
