See WhyChat's comment below, from the "Maryland repo question" post. I have serious questions of the same. SOS (help)

>>The "X" equation is simple- If the repo was not done in COMPLETE accordance with your State's motor vehicle finance laws, including notice of sale, complete accounting of proceeds and WRITTEN notice of a deficiency from the sale, with PROOF that you were given all required notices, unless you WAIVED all your rights when yu turned the car back in, THERE CAN BE NO DEFICIENCY.<<

HELP!!

I didn't get any of these things!!!

Please help. Please see my post "No way out of lemon..."

There seem to be irregularities with both the repo, and Ford Motor Credit's handling of this derogatory entry.

Also, I wrote a letter some time ago to Equifax and said the account was in dispute, because of the lemon fiasco, they wrote back quickly and said it was verified.

How can I still have what looks like an open credit amount of $26,000 with no balance, while it states involuntary reposession? It doesn't say charge off.
Date account opened: 02/99
Date of Last Activity: 05/99
Date reported: 09/01
No date listed for repo
Previous Status: 08/99 - I3
State of North Carolina

My life is hard enough as it is, and I thought I would have to lay down and just take it...you know? But maybe if there is an irregularity with the repo or the entry...maybe I can find some relief.

I WOULD BE SO GRATEFUL FOR ANY HELP.
