OK , we are 21,000 in fees owed on our mortgage to bring it current, and I can get a hold of 15,000. I would have to borrow it, but would like to refinace my house at some point to get the payment down. Do I borrow the money to pay I dont think they will take a lessor amount, or do I file chapter 13 and hope my husband can refi it after it gets discharged? We dont have much more debt about 3,00 in hopitol bills and a 5,000 judgement and 3,000 in nextel. What would you guys suggest, I dont watn to pay the attorney 1,600 if I can not have to file.
