My new husband filed BK before we got married. We received a letter stating that he owed on a AT&T wireless phone bill for $146.68, but they will accept half ($95.34). I immediately called the CC and disputed the bill because I thought it was covered under the BK. Much to my surprise, it was not. Should I send a letter stating that the account was not covered under the BK and I would like a new letter stating the offer for 50% (we did not meet the deadline on the old letter) or should I some how try and blow them off... I mean what's a CC going to do if you filed BK?
