WHOA !!! Who is claiming he owes the debt? A CA? Send them a dispute validation letter demanding PROOF of the account AND their authorization to collect on it, DO NOT admit it is his. There are a LOT of "scavanger" ca's who send out collection letters for anything they can find. They have NO right to collect on these "garbage" accounts at all.
