I do know, after doing a little digging, that he atempted to have the zoning changed for this building by the planning dept wouldn't do it. I have also found out he has been a real pain in the butt to the neighborhood and area this building resides in. He has also been to court on several occasions with his other tenants for one reason or another. I have been sixxing on this for about 9 months scared because if I don't win in court this means he can hold me to the contract and can get an approximately $35,000.00 win. Which will send me straight to bankruptcy. He knows he screwed me over and that's why he hasn't contacted me about the place. If it had been rented out this would be easier because if I lose I would just have to cover rent up to the time he re-leased the spot to someone, But it hsn't been leased out.
