Hi all! Sit back and get comfy, because this is going to be a lengthy post....
I recently ordered a copy of my equifax credit report, and it contained some nasty stuff....all of thses debts are valid, and mine, but there is just NO way I can repay all of these. I was a resident of Mississippi while the debts were incurred, and have been a Florida resident since January or 1999. Please advise me on what to do...Do I let sleeping dogs lie, and wait for these to come off my credit in 2007....and is it that simple, that in 2007 these will magically fall off?
Here's my list of trangressions
Asset Acceptance( collection agency for Dress Barn)
DOLA 1-99, Date reported 7-02

I also have a past due phone bill, cable bill, and hospital billd all from that same time period....what happens now? Is disputing them as invalid even a course of action???I know they are mine. What will happen if I just let things ride( no collections calls/letters). Will these just disappear from my report in 7 years without me having to do anything about them?
Thanks for any advice
