The SOL starting date for a lawsuit in Ohio is from the first late date.

If the chargeoff was reported in 1998, the OC was required to report the first late date to the CRA.If you have documentation, bils that say "past due" etc. or the report shows first delinquency in 1997, that is the start date of your LEGAL and REPORTING SOL.

If creditors had been charging off accounts 180 days late as they were suppossed to, they wouldn't have needed the FCRA to correct the problem.
