You can do BK or wait until you are sued, in general, once an account is charged off it makes no difference if you do it (BK) right away, or wait and see if you are sued.If you have any small cc or store accounts you can bring current and PAY OFF 60 days before you file, and NOT USE until 60 days after, (make sure the renewal dates are a few years away) you do not have to include them in your BK, and you will have a base to rebuild your credit.
