I got way behind on my credit cards. I was able to get most back in good standing. I have 2 accounts with Direct Merchants Bank. With 8 months worth of over the credit fees and late fees I owe $5000 on one and the other $11,000. The big one recently charged off and the smaller one is about to. I had several deals made via the phone that they ended up not honoring.
My question is What next? Should I continue to pay 'what I can' or what? I stopped paying all together and wrote them stating I will not do any more business over the phone. What can I expect next? They seem very dishonest and I sometimes get 4 or 5 call a day with varying offers. They all stink! Help
