If there are 2 references on your reports to the same entry, for instance a BK reported as filed in 1998, and a BK entry on a trade line in 2000, all you need to do is send the CRA a printout showing the discrepancy. If the Sears account was NOT reaffirmed, then you should dispute it to the CRA as incorrect dates & misreporting of a BK, (which is a SERIOUS) violation.

It is, in my opinion useless to try to get OC's to correctly report older tradelines, it is simpler, (I think) to continuiously dispute the incorrect information with the CRA.

I DO have some letters to CRAs on my website, they can be adjusted to the specific circumstances.

Most CRAs do NOT respond to on line disputes unless they are VERY SIMPLE. If you dispute something as "not mine" it will generate an automatic "name matching" program-- that's all.

Re-aging is NOT as simple as you seem to think it is. The ONLY "re-aging" of concern to you on the Sear's account you posted would be if the "last payment" date had been moved up. It should come off your reports 7 years from THAT date, no matter what shows in activity later on.
