Where would I find out the reasons to present a defense that could apply to me..the debt is mine, How would I find out if the added charges ar legal in my state, if the claimant has no standing,how do they prove they own the debt???I have rec. a letter from the oc, saying the ca purchases the debt..and one from the ca saying they purchased the debt..so worse case scenerio, I have no way to present a defense..then what..or is there some where to look to see what other defenses i can present that may apply...thanks
