Is the property a residence? If it is, your safest bet is to declare it a homestead and wait the out. If they HAVE refiled, you should check the county records to see if they have a new certified lien filed also.

If this is not homesteaded property, and they have a lien on it, they can grab it and sell it at auction. The would have no reason, (in my opinion) to "settle".
