The 2000 law was preempted by the 2001 law. You REALLY need to have a lawyer check the status.

I do NOT see how they could possibly have refiled in Tallhassee after Oct. 2001 without fulfilling the requiremennts of the new lien law,which as I said is linked on my website.

It is, I suppose,possible if you were a co-signer, that they were able to obtain the information about the other person and file that way, however, your name should no longer be on, unless they had your current address and ss#.
