If you have a family, you can claim head of household and be exempt fom ANY wage garnishment.

If you have disabiity income or ss income it cannot be touched. Your homestead is exempt fom lien.

If you do not qualify for any of those exemption, you still are likely exempt from wage garnishment as they can only take 25% of your net (take-home) pay,and that is subject to an exemption of the first $230.00

Are you SURE a judgment was actually filed?It would show up on your credit report.
