It appeared to be just coincidence that the letter was at my husband's workplace the same day the CA received the C&D. They did not say how they verified his place of employment. They had as of yet not attempted to get a judgement against us. The letter was just a scare tactic. My husband phoned them when he got home from work regarding the letter being sent to him at work and to verify they had received the C&D. He told the guy no, they did not have his permission to set up to take the amount out of his paycheck, and he was not to contact his place of work again, and the guy said "yes sir".
