This is all I know and keep in mind I have talked to the attorney who filed the class action and one of floridas finance officers who handles complaints on collection agencies. Scamco has listed their company as a finance company in florida. Everyone including the lawyer and the finance people knows this is a total lie but florida legislation apparently forbids anyone from checking up on this. the finance guy said he could not even go to their door to see if they are a collection agency. The attorney also said they are pretty much judgement proof and this includes the collectors themselves. I believe this is for class actions though. He said he had considered filing hundreds of small claims suits against scamco but, and I am not sure why, he also thinks that is useless. Now he is considering going after the OCs who sold these debts like citibank. I want to say this also. I have been having people email back that I helped 2+ months ago. Some of them have stated scamco is still bothering them but lo and behold they never did what I asked. They never sent in the letters or made the complaints. Once again I am wasting my time helping people. Stop screwing around and do what I say or you deserve exactly what you get.
