Judgments stay on for 7 years in Fl. Your credit is already shot, so any additional problems will not change it much. Once you gt a job, (or now if you wish) send the collection agents a cease and desist/validation/dispute letter. Since you are not going to pay, you may as well not be harrassed by them either. The only time bad credit and judgments may hurt you in a job search would be if you were subject to garnishment,or if you were handing other peoples funds, like a bank or insurance job where you had to be bonded. By the way, in Fl. if you are supporting a family member (over 1/2 of the support) you cannot be garnished.
